Based on the design and track records of New Zealand concrete sleepers, PPD had been awarded another contract to develop and supply new concrete bearers for New Zealand. These new products arrived in New Zealand in succession at the end of 2011 and had been laid on tracks around New Zealand. The good quality had been approved by NZ Client. In 2012, PPD started to design and supply concrete bearers to be fitted with standard turnouts, the first set had arrived New Zealand in the early of Jan 2013.
